What should I expect in my first session?

Jane will spend some time finding out about who you are, what your needs and goals are, and how you would like things to be different. Once this has been understood, we then facilitate a process for change. This may include providing you with some tools and strategies, as well as some education and learning. You will be supported through evidence based treatment that improves your sleep, mood, energy, motivation and relationships. Jane will be understanding, supportive, and non-judgemental. How do the fees work?

The base fee is $160 per 50minute session. If you have a Mental health care plan from your GP, you are eligible for a rebate of $86.15. You will be asked to complete a full payment at the time of booking. This is refundable if your appointment is changed. If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please give Jane at least 24 hours notice, otherwise you may not be eligible for the full refund. Late cancellations will only be refunded $80.

Do you have bulk-billing available?

Jane has very limited bulk-billed Telehealth appointments available. In order to receive bulk billing, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Veterans affairs, Private health fund and Workcover Queensland referrals are also welcome. Please email your referral to jane@telehealthpsychology.org.au or 0402 907 140.
